There is a version of this work that ships every week. We tried it. What came out was thin: the kind of thing that works on the day it launches and embarrasses you a year later.
Slow is not a virtue on its own. A thing made slowly and badly is still bad. But time is the only ingredient that lets you throw away the first answer, and the first answer is almost never the one worth keeping.
So we hold each project until it stops arguing with us. Some of them take three winters. Mandria has taken three.
